ief, yet I became frustrated and began to lose the courage to publicly expre - B" j g* K, F, k
ss my opinion on this controversial topic. To gain some insight and reassura 7 \, }# _0 \3 Q& Q$ t- O
nce for myself, I attended the New Jersey Right to Life Convention in the sp
! [" o* T0 i+ X$ I3 fring of 1995. This experience uplifted me and offered great inspiration and ; E+ z8 y) `% u9 e( r6 f8 ~# R
enlightenment. At the convention I received an overwhelming amount of suppor
p4 U% L' y+ p: _" z8 mt and encouragement from wonderful people who advocate the very principles I
; Z% L$ p1 x( |" ?+ a7 K8 mbelieve in. This convention was so inspiring that the next day in school I
% s; } c) D4 [, \# O) Bwas able to relate my experience to one of my biggest opponents on the subje
& k ?, z. d5 |ct. Also, the abundant information available at the convention enabled me to e& c @1 C' u# B. z
defend my position on abortion more effectively. Attending this convention - {! i* M# u9 s5 Y4 P' p
accomplished two things. It proved my commitment to my belief, in that I too ; B9 J' h! T2 ]& F. S
k the initiative to strengthen and support my opinion, refusing to give up o
% q% D4 [# j- q$ a, k! wr lose heart. Unlike many others, I was eager and willing to gain new knowle 2 V' [( @2 r' |! y/ V+ R
dge so I may successfully promote my belief to others. In addition, this con 7 k/ t# `8 h6 B3 B" M. f
