4，6级阅读技巧
阅读理解的分值在英语四、六级考试中占40%，这个比重是相当大的 。因此，要想在四、六级考试中取得较好的成绩，阅读理解这部分的分数一定要拿稳。那么怎样才能使阅读理解取得高分呢？怎样才能提高阅读速度,缩短做题时间，使我们在规定的时间里把试卷完成呢？这就要靠快速阅读（Speed-reading）。只要掌握快速阅读技巧，并强化训练，就能提高阅读水平。下面是一些快速阅读技巧（Speed-reading Skills）:
1 ) Skimming or scanning (略读和浏览)
Skimming and scanning are two basic fast reading techniques. Skimming or scanning the material at high speed is to get the main idea or some information .The two techniques are particularly effective when dealing with an informative text.
2) Reading in groups or phrase (以词组为单位，不要逐字阅读)
When you read the material, don’t read the words one by one. Instead, read the words in groups or phrases in order to make sense together. Poor readers often read too slowly because they try to understand a sentence word bye word, but lose sight of the whole passage.
3) Don’t read in your heart or read aloud, only use your eyes. (不要在心理默读，也不要读出声，只用眼睛去看)
Just read the passage using your eyes, instead of reading in your heart or reading aloud, because getting information by reading using your eyes is faster than by reading aloud.
4) Guessing unknown words (学会猜词)
When you come across a new word, don’t try to look it up in the dictionary .You can guess the meaning of the word according to the context .You should learn this ability ,because it is impossible to memories every word and we always meet some unknown words .
